the plan was to build a computer into a crt monitor.
some features I WANTED.
-no visible screws
-a minimum of holes
-a minimum of connectors for external units (mouse keyb etc.)
and a fan controller OFC
It's an old IBM 17" CRT monitor, there has been built an 17" TFT monitor into it.
Screws for mounting the TFT have been covered with epoxy and painted, it is impossible to find any if you don't know where to look ...
slot in cdrom drive in the front with LED illumination, eject botton as one of the original bottons from the CRT.
same goes for powerbotton.
the only needed connector is the powercord, nothing else has to be connected for 100% system functionality.
color choice is black/blue (clear). note that the blue grows in sharpness and intensity depending on the sorrounding light.
connectors for 5.1 sorround and secondary monitor is mounted in the back.
It's a bit funny, lots of ppl have mistaken it for a regular monitor, if I have turned the TFT off lots of ppl turn of the computer in an attemt to switch the monitor on...
so it's safe to say it looks like an ordinary monitor...
